  • What is your character’s name?
  • What is special about your character?
  • What do they do with their time?
  • What do they like?
  • What do they dislike?

  • Beginning: Life is normal.
  • The Push: Something happens to shake things up.
  • The Journey: The main character goes on an adventure or tries to fix things.
  • Uh Oh!: Unexpected problems or new people show up.
  • Big Decision: The character has to make a really important choice.
  • The Big Moment: The most exciting part, where everything comes to a head because of the choice.
  • What Happens Next: The direct result of the big moment and choice.
  • The End: Things settle down again, usually with the character having learned something.

Begin to create a story. You can write it, or use a spider diagram.
